League Assistant Coaching Announcement

NEW LEAGUE COACH ANNOUNCEMENT!

Kurt Haunold will be our league head coach for season 2026!

Kurt is new blood to our footy club and we stoked to have him. He brings a wealth of experience to the club and a fresh outlook on our playing group.

Kurt comes to us with experience from coaching Melville football club for 5 years including a premiership, he was colts and league coach for Donnnybrook, a former league coach Harvey Bulls and colts coach at Harvey Brunswick Leschanault in the SWFL.

Talk about experience!

Kurt had this to say of his election as head coach -

“I am really looking forward to this coaching opportunity and looking forward to meeting all involved through out all the grades and look forward to successful season 2026.”

So are we mate!

Adding to our league coaching depth is a man that needs no introduction - life member George Costello! George will be on board as senior assistant coach to Kurt.

Georgey is taking a step back from the top dog spot to play a senior supporting role in player development, something he has shown to be very good at across over a decade of coaching for the club.

These two blokes, together, we think are a great combo to bring our league side back to success at our new home in season 2026.
